The Volkside blog is opinions, ideas, critique and discussion on interaction design, web applications, and business.

I will keep each post pretty short and to the point. You won’t find roundup, link fest, “best of” or “X ways to do Y” posts here. And I really can’t stand corporate jargon.

Some of the posts will be naive, unrealistic or just self-contradicting. That’s okay – I don’t want to worry about that too much as I’d rather bring up a half baked idea than polish it until I realise its time has passed.

I’ll aim for quality over volume and I’ll value your attention. I would love it to be a conversation so please let me and the other readers know your different perspective on what’s being discussed.

Each post will have a core idea that should make you think. The real goal, however, is to make you take action. If I manage to change the behaviour of even one reader, even just a little bit, it’s a success.
